Submit a Complaint

The Covington Police Department seeks to maintain public confidence in the ability of the department to investigate and properly adjudicate complaints against its members. A citizen who wishes to make a complaint against a member of the department should come to our department and ask to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor can take your complaint and forward it to the proper division supervisor for further investigation. If you submit a complaint via email please leave a phone number so a supervisor from CPD can reach you. Except in extenuating circumstances, a complaint is normally not accepted more than ninety (90) days after an incident occurs.
Please note that this form cannot be used to file a police report. To file a report, please call 911 or come to the police station in person.
